Kastanis TRB Tents
Camping Kastanis in Katapola, Amorgos offers you the opportunity to experience camping through its alternative TRB luxury tents.
In the upgraded TRB tents, made with lightweight equipment but with the security of privacy, you enjoy your stay as in the traditional campsite with greater ease and more amenities.
Each scene consists of a special caravan that protects you from the sun and the air. The space is larger and comfortable compared to a traditional scene. Continuing to enjoy the connection with the landscape around you, you have at your disposal beds with provided bed linen, electricity as well as all public areas of the campsite for use and exploration.
Facilities
The facilities provide you with everything you need to enjoy your vacation. Hot water 24 hours a day, shared kitchen with fridge, internet, minimarket and storage boxes are just some of the amenities you will find at your disposal. In the camp area there is also the restaurant and café-bar "Skepardies" with the possibility for breakfast or lunch of the day with traditional dishes and homemade flavors. You can also enjoy your drink in the evening overlooking the port of Katapola. Free parking is available to all residents. Of course, there is also the possibility of free transportation from the port to/from the campsite. TRB tents are a great choice for families who need convenience and comfort in a campground. They are an ideal alternative to traditional tents without depriving you of the camping experience.

The island of Amorgos has one of the most organized islands for hiking in the Cyclades. You will find many routes and with difficulty for all levels of hikers.
The most famous route – and quite long, 4-5 hours – includes the Monastery of Hozoviotissa, one of the must-see monuments of the area due to the special landscape and the location of the monastery.
A walk in Chora of the island is considered necessary to admire the white alleys, squares with cafes and ouzos that are full of life every hour of the day. You can visit the Castle or even sit in one of the cafes for a traditional Cycladic breakfast.
Finally, Aigiali, with the second port of the island gathers many of the bars and restaurants of the island with the most young people. It is beautiful to visit for the sunset, since it is towards the west side of the island and offers beautiful images.
Without being intense the tourist element of the island, you will enjoy a different Cycladic air – literally and figuratively – with unique and special beauties.
Ημερήσιες εκδρομές - Αξιοθέατα
Το νησί της Αμοργού διαθέτει ένα από τα πιο οργανωμένα νησιά για πεζοπορία στις Κυκλάδες. Θα βρεις πολλές διαδρομές και με δυσκολία για όλα τα επίπεδα πεζοπόρων.
Η πιο γνωστή διαδρομή –και αρκετά μεγάλη, 4-5 ώρες- περιλαμβάνει την Μονή Χοζοβιώτισσας, ένα από τα must-seeμνημεία της περιοχής λόγω του ιδιαίτερου τοπίου και της θέσης της μονής.
Μία βόλτα στη Χώρα του νησιού κρίνεται απαραίτητη για να θαυμάσετε τα κατάλευκα σοκάκια, τις πλατείες με τα καφενεία και τα ουζερί που σφύζουν από ζωή κάθε ώρα της ημέρας. Μπορείτε να επισκεφτείτε το Κάστρο ή και καθίσετε σε ένα από τα καφενεία για παραδοσιακό κυκλαδίτικο πρωινό.
Τέλος, η Αιγιάλη, με το δεύτερο λιμάνι του νησιού συγκεντρώνει πολλά από τα μπαρ και τα εστιατόρια του νησιού με τους περισσότερους νέους. Είναι πανέμορφη να την επισκεφθείς για το ηλιοβασίλεμα, μιας και είναι προς στη δυτική πλευρά του νησιού και προσφέρει πανέμορφες εικόνες.
Χωρίς να είναι έντονο το τουριστικό στοιχείο του νησιού, θα απολαύσεις έναν διαφορετικό κυκλαδίτικο αέρα –κυριολεκτικά και μεταφορικά- με ομορφιές μοναδικές και ιδιαίτερες.
