Trip Outline
Our excursion starts with a short walk around the old village of Litochoro, to learn its secrets. Why is it built with many alleys, and dead ends? After our experiential walk, we will sit in a local cafe, enjoy our traditional coffee with a informative storytelling about Olympus, Dion, Litochoro and the role they had in ancient and modern Greece!
Our tour will continue with a visiting to the old monastery of Ag. Dionysiou and the famous waterfall of Leto, then we will visit a delicatessen shop in Litochoro with special flavors from all over Greece. From here we will get our supplies for cooking and preparing traditional dishes by ourselves. The dining experience has just begun and the place we will choose will change depending on the season, either on the beach of Litochoro, or in the traditional Paleos Panteleimon village, or in the villages north of Olympus overlooking the imposing "Kazania" a big amphitheatricalc precipitous cliff of Olympus.
So, hands on for an original experience!
